SPRING, Texas -- Cassidy Stay, the lone survivor of a cold-blooded attack on a family in Spring, Texas, was named to her school's homecoming court Friday night.
Cassidy told KTRK-TV, "If my parents would be here at the game with me, they'd be cheering me on."
Cassidy is a flutist in the Klein Collins High School Marching Band. She added, "It's just - it's just fun because the band is my family, so I just feel right at home."
Cassidy is one of seven family members shot execution-style inside their Spring home in July by accused gunman Ron Haskell.
