CHICAGO (WLS) -- Beer lovers around Chicago are salivating for the start of Chicago Craft Beer Week. Now in its seventh year, the annual event showcases some of the best beers and venues the city has to offer. Chicago Craft Beer Week begins May 19th and features tastings, dinners parties, dodgeball tournaments, fun runs, and sightseeing cruises.
Then on June 17th and 18th, beer-lovers are invited to the Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park for the Chicago Ale Fest. The event will feature more than 200 beers from 100+ craft breweries. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Grant Park Conservancy. Tickets are $50, or $25 for designated drivers. Josh Seago, Co-Creator of the Chicago Ale Fest, visited ABC7 to talk about the upcoming beer events and to talk about all the craft brews being made around the city.
