Man found shot to death near Englewood elementary school

CHICAGO -- Chicago police are investigating after a man was found shot to death near an elementary school in the Englewood neighborhood.

The man was found dead in a sidewalk 74th and Morgan near Stagg Elementary School after police were alerted to a shooting by residents shortly before 6:30 a.m. Friday, according to police.

Police are investigating.
