CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Park District is pleading with Pokemon Go players to stay on the path.
Some are apparently going on a fenced-in habitat at the Loyola Dunes and trampling on endangered plants in the hunt for a rare Pokemon.
It's apparently near the Buddha sculpture, which attracts players into an area of the sandy dunes that serves as erosion control for the beach.
The park district is asking game developers to step in and remove the protected area from the game.
