Man shot while sitting in car on Far South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are searching for the person who shot a 20-year-old man on Chicago's Far South Side.

The victim was sitting in his car near East 130th Street and South Martin Luther King Drive in the city's Eden Green neighborhood around 4:30 a.m.

Police said that's when he was shot in the arm and back. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he is listed in serious condition.

Area South detectives are trying to determine a motive. No one is in custody.
