CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- A house fire in west suburban Cicero early Friday has been ruled a suspected arson, according to the fire department.
However, the blaze is still under investigation.
Chopper 7 HD flew over the house fire in the 3200-block of 49th Avenue around 6:05 a.m. as flames shot out of the first-floor windows. Smoke could be seen for miles.
Several fire crews battled the blaze, which was quickly extinguished. By around 6:20 a.m., only a small amount of smoke could be seen rising from the building.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
