RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- A Chicago man is accused of threatening to bomb a west suburban college because it denied his application to get in.

James Childress, 29, allegedly posted his plan on Tuesday to blow up Concordia University in River Forest on Facebook.

He allegedly sent a message to a woman saying he wanted to set off a homemade bomb at the building.

She called police and the FBI got involved. Officials said Childress confessed to the crime.

He is charged with felony disorderly conduct and misdemeanor electronic harassment.

He is due in court next week.
