CPS adds school days after cold weather closures

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A couple of days have been added to the calendar for CPS students.

Extreme cold temperatures forced CPS schools to close earlier in January. Now the district has announced two dates to make-up those missed school days.

Students are now expected to attend classes on Friday, Jan. 30 and Thursday, June 18.
