CTA installs bus tracker displays on 51 'L' platforms

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A new tool will help commuters speed up their rides on CTA trains and buses.

The transit authority installed bus tracker displays at 51 "L" station platforms across the city.

The displays will give real-time bus arrival information to train riders looking to transfer from train to bus.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel just spoke about the new tool Friday morning.
