CHICAGO (WLS) -- CTA Green and Pink train line trains are moving again Monday evening after portions of both lines were stopped for a couple hours due to a fire at a signal relay house, according to the CTA.

Green lines are moving between again between the Loop and California stops. Pink line trains between the Loop and Polk stops are being rerouted to Racine on the Blue Line for connecting service to and from downtown.

At about 7:30 p.m., smoke was seen coming from the signal relay house near 1600 W. Lake St., according to CTA spokesman Brian Steele.

The Chicago Fire Department confirmed that there was a small electrical fire at the signal relay house.

Shuttle buses transported passengers between stations.
