1 injured in crash involving IDOT truck on SB Dan Ryan between 31st, 35th

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The southbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway were temporarily closed Friday night between 31st Street and 35th Street due to a crash involving an IDOT truck.

Chicago Fire Dept. officials said one person was taken to Mercy Hospital.

Illinois State Police say the IDOT worker was not in the vehicle when the accident happened and was not injured.
