Three men charged in connection with Bridgeport, Austin armed robberies

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Darnell Russ, Antione Golden and Lekendrick C. Williams have been charged in connection with two armed robberies in the city's Bridgeport and Austin neighborhoods, officials said.

Officials said the men allegedly robbed a 23-year-old male victim of cash and an iPhone on June 4 in the 4900 block of W. Quincy around 12:30 p.m. That same day, the men allegedly robbed a male 31-year-old victim of his wallet and iPhone in the 200 block of W. 31st Street around 3:15 p.m., police said.

Police arrested the men on June 7 after an alleged brief vehicle and foot pursuit, officials said.

Golden faces three felony charges of armed robbery and attempting to flee. Russ and Williams each face one felony armed robbery charge. All three are scheduled to appear in court Sunday.
