Gary body identified as DeCarol Deloney-Cain

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- The body of a woman found in Gary has been identified as 54-year-old DeCarole Deloney-Cain, officials said.

Lake County Coroner officials said the body was found Monday in a wooded area in the 2000-block of E. 22nd Place in Gary. Deloney-Cain, a Crown Point, Ind., resident, was found with multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma to the head, officials said.

Police are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Gary police.
