Des Plaines River searched after car found in water

RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- Rescue crews are searching the Des Plaines River Sunday after a car wound up in the water near west suburban River Forest.

Police and firefighters say they did not find anybody in the car, but are searching the entire river and using sonar.

Police say so far there are no witnesses and they are still investigating.
