Divvy raising 12-month subscription to $99

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Divvy, Chicago's bike-sharing service, is raising its rates next year.

As of February 1, riders will pay $99 for a 12-month subscription. It currently costs $75.

Users also have the option to pay monthly, which amounts to $9.95 a month.

Divvy says the increase helps pay for 1,700 bikes that were recently added to the fleet.
