East Chicago building collapse investigated

EAST CHICAGO, Ind. (WLS) -- Investigators are trying to determine what caused a building to collapse in northwest Indiana.

It happened Tuesday afternoon in the 1500-block of Broadway in East Chicago. Some debris from the building fell onto neighboring homes.

The damage is still being assessed, but nobody was injured.
