CPS to propose expansion to Skinner West Elementary

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago Public Schools is planning an expansion to an overcrowded school on Chicago's West Side.

CPS leaders are expected to make the announcement proposing to add an annex to Skinner West Elementary in the West Loop, and they're also going to discuss turning Brown Elementary into a STEM school.

Meetings will be held Wednesday night at both schools.
