Edward McMenamin, 68, sentenced to 8 years for child porn possession

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- A former doctor is sentenced to eight years in prison for possessing child pornography.

Edward McMenamin, 68, pleaded guilty in March.

Investigators say he had numerous pornographic images and videos on his computer.

He was working as a family doctor for Advocate Medical Group before his arrest in May of last year.
