CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- Bond has been increased for a man accused of trying to kill his own neighbors.

Edward Weincek's initial bond was so low it sparked outrage from police and his alleged victims. He's charged with attempted murder.

Last week Weincek was able to go free after posting just $30,000 bond. On Tuesday, a judge increased the bond by $20,000.

He has been taken back into custody.
