As "Bachelor" fans gear up for the season finale next week, ABC7 checked in with the original "Bachelorette" - Trista Sutter.
Sutter was the first female to star in the reality show in 2003. She picked Ryan, a firefighter, and they are still married and living in Colorado with their two children, ages 8 and 10.
Years later, Sutter said she feels lucky that she and Ryan were on the show and that they met and fell in love.
She continues to watch the "Bachelor" and predicts that the next "Bachelorette" will be Tia.
On the next "Bachelor," Ari will pick among the final three women.
The show airs 7 p.m. Monday on ABC7.
