Joffrey Ballet holds 'Nutcracker' auditions for children's roles

CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you feel like the recent fall temperatures are coming too soon, it's already time to get ready for an annual holiday classic.

The Joffrey Ballet held auditions Sunday for "The Nutcracker" and hundreds of young dancers between 4-and-5 feet tall tried out for children's roles.

The Nutcracker starts December 5 at the Auditorium Theater.
