New Daytime lineup on ABC7

CHICAGO (WLS) -- ABC 7 welcomes Rachel Ray to the afternoon lineup! General Hospital, Inside Edition and Jeopardy move back one hour.

There's no time like daytime on ABC 7. This fall, Rachel Ray brings her own brand of yum to the afternoon line up. Rachel premieres September 15th in the 1pm weekday time slot, right after The Chew at Noon.

Starting September 8th, Chicago's favorite daytime drama returns to the time generations of fans know well. General Hospital moves back to 2:00pm. It's the same sizzle and same drama at a different time!

Also, starting September 8th, Inside Edition and Jeopardy return to their former time slots at 3:00pm and 3:30pm. Chicago's number one news, ABC 7 Eyewitness News follows at 4:00pm.

According to John Idler, President and General Manager, ABC 7, "ABC 7's 2014 schedule offers a solid lineup of programs for Chicago's daytime audience. Emmy award-winning, locally produced Windy City LIVE is back at 11 am. Rachel Ray will be showcased in her new home at 1 PM as a perfect follow-up to THE CHEW. And, three popular daytime staples are returning to the time periods where viewers watched and enjoyed them for years - General Hospital at 2PM, Inside Edition AT 3PM and finally, Jeopardy at 3:30 PM leading into top-rated ABC 7 Eyewitness News at 4 PM."
