'Superman vs. Batman' movie shooting in Chicago begins Monday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Starting Monday, helicopters will hover above Chicago's lakefront and Navy Pier for the filming of a new superhero movie.

Those in the area may hear the sounds of chopper blades for the filming of "Superman Versus Batman: Dawn of Justice."

Crews have been filming across the Chicago area since late last week and some streets were shut down to accommodate film cameras.

The film is set to be released in 2016.
