Ambulance, car crash in north suburban Evanston

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- An ambulance and a car collided in north suburban Evanston Friday morning.

The ambulance was responding to a call when the other driver failed to yield to an emergency vehicle, Evanston police said. The driver was cited and treated for minor injuries.

It's unclear whether there were any serious injuries resulting from the crash.
