Little Village celebrates Mexican Independence Day with annual parade

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands gathered in the Little Village neighborhood on Sunday to celebrate at the 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade.

Mexican Independence Day Parade, Part 1

The fun started at noon along 26th Street from Albany to Kostner avenues.

The parade features floats, mariachi bands, and dancing in the streets. It's part of the Festival de La Villita.
