CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are looking for a man who they said tried to fondle a 17-year-old girl on Chicago's Northwest Side.
A community alert said the teen was walking to school alone in the 2300-block of North Kildare Avenue around 7:50 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said that's when a man bumped into her and started walking alongside her. The girl said he tried to talk to her, asking personal questions in Spanish.
When the man allegedly hugged her and tried to grab her backside, the teen said she pushed him away and took out her phone. He ran away.
The suspect is described as a clean-shaven Hispanic man in his 20's with short dark hair and dark eyes. He is between 5 ft. 3 in. and 5 ft. 5 in. tall and weighs between 145 and 165 lbs. He was wearing a tan jacket with a hood.
