Orland Park man charged with masturbating in front of girls

HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Guas Sweiss, of Orland Park, has been charged with exposing himself to two juvenile girls in Harvey, police said.

Sweiss allegedly parked his car in an alley in the 15000-block of South Loomis on July 14, exited his car and walked toward a group of bushes and exposed himself to masturbate while viewing the juvenile girls, officials said. One of the girls allegedly noticed him masturbating, and she and the other girl ran into a nearby residence, police said.

The entire incident was allegedly caught on video by neighbors who were already suspicious of the offender upon his arrival to the area, officials said.

After being contacted by police who obtained the video, Sweiss allegedly agreed to turn himself in via his lawyer by noon on July 18, but did not show up, police said. A warrant was then issued for Sweiss and he was arrested on July 20.

He was expected to appear in bond court Sunday.
