Popular Northwest Side grocery store robbed at gunpoint

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An armed robber terrorized workers at the Happy Foods in Chicago's Edison Park neighborhood last week.



Police said the suspect walked into the popular grocery store in the 6700-block of Northwest Highway around 1 p.m. Friday, pulled out a gun and forced three employees to hand over cash.

No one was hurt during the robbery.



Police released a vague description of the suspect. The Edison Park Chamber of Commerce posted surveillance photos of the robber on its Facebook page Sunday.



No one is in custody.
