Harlem Globetrotters play in Hinckley in honor of 1st road game

HINCKLEY, Ill. (WLS) -- The Harlem Globetrotters returned to their roots with a stop in DeKalb County.

The team played in Hinckley Thursday night in honor of the Globetrotters' first ever road game in 1927. The town honored the team with a new welcome sign which featured the Globetrotters' logo.

The world's most famous basketball team is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
