Harvey home destroyed by fire

HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Powerful flames destroyed a home Friday morning in south suburban Harvey.

The blaze broke out at a home near East 151st and Morgan streets, down the street from Thornton Township High School. The house collapsed before the flames were extinguished.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire. As of Friday morning, there were no reports of injuries.
