Suspected pedophile spotted near Harvey school

HARVEY (WLS) -- A man has been exposing himself and propositioning children at a park that is adjacent to a south suburban Harvey elementary school, police said.

The suspected pedophile has been seen at the park Holmes Elementary School, located at 160th and Carse Avenue.

Extra police patrols have been added in the area, officials said.

The school's staff members are also taking additional steps to ensure the safety of students.
