HEBRON, Ill. (WLS) -- There's a push to drop a controversial charge against the Hebron village president.
Police arrested John Jacobson back in March. They were called to his home for a medical emergency. That's when police say they found cocaine and a shotgun inside his home.
Jacobson's lawyers are now calling for the drug charge to be dropped, arguing a person cannot be charged based on evidence found during a medical emergency.
