Woman fatally struck in Belmont Cragin hit-and-run

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was fatally struck during a hit-and-run in the city's Belmont Cragin neighborhood, police said.

A truck hit the woman at the intersection of Grand and Laramie around 7:30 a.m. Friday, police said. The truck did not stop and the woman died at the scene.

Charges have not been filed and police have not released any other details.
