CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds gathered in Chicago Tuesday night for a Red Cross fundraiser to help people impacted by the recent hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Meteorologist Cheryl Scott served as the emcee for the event called, "Turning the Tide for Texas," that raised more than $1 million.
All proceeds and donations from the event will go towards the Red Cross to help hurricane relief efforts.
