Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation Conference held in Rosemont

ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Some of Illinois' top Latino leaders gathered in Rosemont on Friday for the 13th Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation Conference.

This year's theme is "La Presencia Latina: The Future Starts Now!" The foundation began in 2002 as a way to advance statewide issues that are important to Latino voters.

The foundation also honored 28 college students with scholarship awards.
