Winning $650K Lucky Day Lotto ticket sold in West Town

CHICAGO -- Someone in West Town is $650,000 richer after a winning lottery ticket was sold this week.

The Lucky Day Lotto ticket was purchased at Elite Car Wash at 823 N. Western Ave., according to the Illinois Lottery. The ticket matched all five numbers: 16-31-32-34-43.

The winner has one year from the original March 31 evening drawing to collect the prize at Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.

Until then, the winner is advised to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place.

The car wash will receive a bonus of $6,500, 1 percent of the price amount, for selling the winning ticket.
