CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 19-year-old Indiana man who was ordered to register as a sex offender because he had sex with a 14-year-old girl who lied about her age will be re-sentenced.
Zach Anderson was convicted in Michigan, where the age of consent is 16. The girl told Anderson she was 17.
Originally, a judge sentenced him to register as a sex offender in Indiana and Michigan, but even the girls' mother asked for leniency.
