SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Santa Clara's Shubham Banerjee's dream of mass producing a Braille printer may be coming true.
The 12-year-old made a prototype almost entirely out of Legos.
Intel loved the idea so much, it's now investing in the project.
The company isn't saying how much, but reports say it could invest several hundred thousand dollars.
Banerjee plans to use the money to build a better prototype. He hopes to sell the printers for $350 apiece, far less than ones now on the market cost.
