CHICAGO (WLS) -- There's new fallout in the Jackie Robinson West Little League team controversy.
Chris Janes, a Little League coach from southwest suburban Evergreen Park, filed a lawsuit against Little League Baseball International in U.S. District Court.
Janes said the organization was involved in a cover-up after the 2014 Little League World Series.
He said he approached a Little League executive and told him he had evidence that some JRW players lived outside league boundaries.
Janes said the executive discouraged him from filing a formal complaint. He is seeking more than $75,000 for emotional distress.
