CHICAGO (WLS) -- A judge upheld charges against a Chicago activist accused of hitting a police officer and trying to take his gun Wednesday morning.
Chicago activist Ja'mal Green, 20, faces five felony charges after the incident during a protest against police shootings last month.
His attorney said Green will plead not guilty.
A judge has since lifted Green's curfew after Green posted bond. Green is no longer being electronically monitored and is allowed to post on social media.
