Jessica Hinojosa's body found in Kankakee River

KANKAKEE, Ill. (WLS) -- The body of a 25-year-old woman missing for more than a month has been found in the Kankakee River.

Jessica Hinojosa's body was found at 10 a.m. Friday in the river near the Court Street Bridge, the Kankakee County coroner said.

Hinojosa was last seen by friends leaving a bar in Kankakee in the early morning hours of February 15. Emergency crews pulled her red Chevy Camaro from the river a day later.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
