The Duggar family is back in the spotlight with sisters Jill and Jessa starring in a new series.

The Duggars are one of the most famous reality TV families ever.

Their new series on TLC, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" is putting the tight-knit clan's older children on center stage. They were asked questions about everything from laundry to scandal.

"I sometimes I do my own, but -- a lot of the times, the girls love to do it. At least I think they do," said John David Duggar, 26, about laundry duties.

For seven years, audiences tuned in to watch the devout Christian family who practice purity, modesty and deep faith. "19 Kids and Counting" was one of TLC's biggest hits. But last summer, that all changed. In June, the Duggars confirmed that the oldest son Josh had molested five underage girls, including four of his sisters, when he was a teenager. TLC soon canceled their long-running show. Two months later, Josh admitted being unfaithful to his wife Anna - news that rocked the family and their fans.

"The devil took his best shot. And he tried to take our whole family down, but God has really used this to-- instead of tearing us apart as a family, he's using it to draw us together," John David Duggar said. "And so for us... we've forgiven, and we're moving on, and we're looking to the future."

"I think in the midst of what we were walking through, there definitely have to be periods where you're like, 'I don't want cameras around,'" Jessa said. "But as we were talking together as siblings, we're like, you know what? If we can encourage even one other person out there who's struggling, then that needs to be our goal. We've had a lot of healing in our family these past few months and we're ready to move forward and share our lives."

Now TLC is hoping that fans will come back to watch the Duggar kids all grown up. The new series shows Jessa and Jill adjusting to life as new moms.

"There are lots of exciting things coming up. I mean, we're not gonna say anything about the double wedding of the twins, but-" Jessa joked.

"You're just gonna have to watch," John David Duggar said. "You know, we're moving on with our lives, and it-- we're really looking forward to the future. And so we wanted to kind of share that with our fans, the folks that have followed us for years."
