Kickoff party held for 21st annual Jim Gibbons 5K

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A kickoff party was held Thursday night for the ABC7 5K run and 3K walk honoring our late colleague Jim Gibbons.

The 21st annual event on June 18 will benefit the Leukemia Research Foundation.

From 1968 until his death in 1994, Jim was a respected reporter for Eyewitness News.
