Police: Man exposed himself to girl after breaking into home

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police say Jose Garcia, 36, was arrested and charged with home invasion and sex abuse after breaking into a South Side home and exposing himself to a teenage girl.

Police say Garcia broke into a home near 56th and Sacramento in Chicago's Gage Park neighborhood early Thursday morning.

The 16-year-old girl was sleeping on the couch when it happened. She was not hurt.

Garcia escaped but was later captured by officers.
