Chicago man pleads guilty after trying to open airplane door in flight

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Joshua Suggs, 24, of Chicago pleaded guilty to charges stemming from when he tried to open the door of a Southwest Airlines plane mid-flight.

Suggs was arrested in April.

The Southwest flight was heading from Midway Airport to Sacramento but was forced to make an emergency landing in Omaha.

Suggs is expected to be sentenced in April.
