Kennedy Expressway road closures near Edens scheduled for Sunday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Road work this weekend on the Kennedy Expressway may have you changing some travel plans.

Crews will be on the expressway Sunday to perform routine bridge inspections on the stretch of I-90 from Central Avenue to the junction with the Edens Expressway.

Starting at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, crews will shut down lanes at various locations in both directions until noon.

There will always be at least one lane open, but drivers are being told to expect some delays.
