Minimum-security inmate escapes from Wisconsin correctional facility

KENOSHA, WI (WLS) -- A minimum-security prisoner escaped from Kenosha Correctional Center Friday, according to officials.

Jared McGovern, 33, of Kenosha, was arrested and charged on one count of armed robbery, according to Wisconsin Circuit Court records. He is described as a white male, 5'10" and 160 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about McGovern's whereabouts is asked to contact police.
