3 headless kittens found in industrial area

RONKONKOMA, N.Y. -- Officials are looking for whoever is behind the decapitations of three kittens found in Ronkonkoma.

The cats were found dead in an industrial area in the 2200 block of Fifth Avenue in Ronkonkoma, according to the Suffolk County SPCA.

A woman who cares for feral cat colonies discovered the bodies, said Roy Gross, chief of the Suffolk County SPCA.

Gross said the kittens were about 5 days old when they died and were lined up next to each other. There was very little blood found.
