Celebration marks second night of Kwanzaa

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Self-determination was the principle recognized at Saturday night's Kwanzaa celebration, marking the second night of the week-long event.

National and state congressmen were in attendance at the celebration, which was held at Sankofa Cultural Arts Center in the South Austin neighborhood.

Each day is devoted to a certain principle. Sunday is collective work and responsibility.
