Lawsuit: Job placement company discriminates, favors Latinos

A national job placement company was accused of discriminating against African Americans in favor of Latino workers.

The case could be headed to court. The lawsuit claims Personnel Staffing Group would use code words to distinguish races.

And the Spanish word for "bilinguals" was used to reference Hispanics.

The lawsuit claims the discrimination was often to comply with racially based requests from some clients.

ABC7 was unable to reach Personnel Staffing Group for a comment.
